I think this one is going to be a smash hit for CD Projeckt. They've produced two really good games already that have really built their rep. Even if you have never played the Witcher, you know what it is. And because there aren't that many games out for hte next-gen consoles, I really feel like this one is going to kill it.
So now I just need PC that functions halfway decently and then maybe I can play the thing.
Too true. I suppose its a matter of how much you want the feature vs. the downside you have to put up with.
Why not? They made an MMO from a RTS once. That seemed to go down a treat.
That's not a terrible idea, but I'm not sure it's the best idea either.
I think the best move for BF is stable release. Do that and I think most people will forgive
I disagree. I think pushing a personal agenda is perfectly fine if you're open about the fact. And what is a review if not the personal opinion of the reviewer?
Having a review with a personal angle is just another way to review a game. It's not even a new way. Wikipedia even has entry on this called New Games Journalism which was written a few years ago. Go Google it.
The other thing to remember is that reviews of that nature haven't suddenly made the more traditional type disappear. If you don't like Arthur Gies or Earnest Cavelli or Jim Sterling or Angry Joe or Keza McDonald or whoever, then find a reviewer you do lik...
This is great. Unless you wanna be a Lady Assassin... I'm kidding, calm down.
If the game core mechanics are consistent, then I am down for this. So far the new setting is intriguing
I played the first one, which I enjoyed. Just never got around to the second.
This new system is certainly different, but I feel like I need more info before i decide it bad. You Dig?
Worrying about this seems premature. I'll wait for a review before deciding if this is a big deal.
This seems like a game series I should want to play, but I just can't seem to get around to it. Bargain bit indeed.
In terms of story, i am finding this game more appealing than Unity.
No it not. I've said this a million times, it is not necessary to upgrade yet. Wait for the price drop people.
Also, this argument that YouTuber don't have to abide by the same ethical standards as other Journos is just bollocks.
They are informing the public. And if someone is paying them to say something, VERY SPECIFIC, about X game, I want to know that they've been paid to say it.
I couldn't have said it better. We just have to be more discerning about who we put our faith in.
Not too surprising. There will always be these gamer outliers that just crush games. Look at some of these speed runs we see in gaming. Some people just have skills, either through natural talent or hardwork.
Totally unsurprised by this.
Ok. I'll admit it. I'm kinda excited for a COD game.
I'm sorry, but how is there not even one JRPG on this list? Not even one?
This is a very good point. I love COD, but it's influence was too far reaching. A bit of a decline will benefit the quality of the games and the industry as a whole.
The fact that AW is the game it is, is proof of that. If Ghosts was as big as the previous games, Acti would not have taken the narrative and genre mixing risk that AW is. It would have bee just another military shooter.
